While I was on bed rest, I had the opportunity to download and read some amazing E-books and today I want to share my favorites with you!

Sara from Your Thriving Family has written a whimsical book that is all about Baby Showers! In Baby Shower, you will find games, printable's, recipes and a few pointers for a more stress-free host.  

Jenny from A Mother's Heritage is kindred spirit of mine! She openly recounts mess, OCD, and "yes, rich beauty and love" in her inspiring book. I can whole-heartily relate to Jenny's struggles. Often I am reminded that life with little's can be a little messy and I just have to let it go, Embracing the Mess!

Darlene Schacht from Time-Warp Wife has graciously offered her e-book, The Wife's Guide, Embracing Your Role as a Help Meet! While I am still reading through this gem myself, Darlene offers great encouragement and advice such as, "If you have problems to deal with, wait until after dinner to spring it on him. Lauren from A Corner Pillar is in the midst of publishing a fantastic e-book called

"A Beginners guide to Portrait Photography" This would be perfect for learning new techniques in photographing that new little addition to your family!

I have been reading through "Making Room: Recovering Hospitality as a Christian Tradition" these past few weeks as a part of my book schedule.

I highly suggest you read it as well.

This book is life-giving to the home but not for the hostess but rather for the guest and will stir your soul into action. 

When we think of hospitality, we often think of simply entertaining our friends and family in our homes. Have you considered opening your home to strangers? Someone you have never met until that moment?

Jesus said, "When you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed because they cannot repay you."~ Luke 14:13-14

This is one of the books I purposed to read this month and I am so thankful I did!
