Moore Family Films Giveaway!~closed

There are plenty of days when I'm in the trenches and I want to wave my white flag in surrender. The black Sharpie is the favorite marker of choice for the walls, lunch is late, school lessons have gone awry and dinner is burnt. My flesh cries, "Lord remind me they are a blessing!"

I almost let the enemy in with his lies. I begin to repeat the words of scorners in my head that tell me I'm crazy for having ''all those kids'' or frown upon my "irresponsibility" when they look down on me with pity.

As a first generation Christian I will be the first to admit I fail (daily) when it comes to raising godly children.
I need help for the days when I am poured out and need refreshment.
So I seek out advise from those who are like-minded for wisdom, advice and encouragement.

That is exactly what I found in "Children are a Blessing"

Moore Family Films on Vimeo

My husband and I completely relate to the Moore family. This film documents their own journey as they so "transparently share their testimony of how God, in His grace and mercy, opened their eyes in spite of their own sinful beginning. Be encouraged as they casually answer questions often posed to large families. Then, experience the joy of Biblical family life as they anticipate, give birth to, and welcome their tenth child into their home." My girls also loved watching this film as it is co-narrated by the Moore's young daughter Dailey Grace. psst...The Moore's are expecting another blessing due this April!

In Deuteronomy 32, Moses tells the people: Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do...for it is not a vain thing for you,
because it is your life.

This is Your Life: The Moss Family has been encouraging movie for my husband and I because the Moss family speaks honesty and loving on why they educate their children at home, why Beverly stays home to care for the family and how George leads his family in Bible reading and prayer. You can also see the genuine love the children share for one another. What interested me the most in this film, however, was why they trust God for children after 6 c-sections! Their love for family and children is genuine and honest.

Both films incorporate scripture and both films give all the authority and glory to the Lord!
I would strongly encourage you to purchase both films for your families media library. They are a wonderful resource for teaching multi-generational thinking to our children as well as to those who have questions about what Scriptures states when it comes to surrendering our all to the Lord in the area of having children according to His will, not ours.

Moore Family Films is graciously giving away both films to one blessed reader!

People are not always supportive of the choices that we make as we attempt to honor God, and it's been a week of that here. It sounds like this is a great, encouraging movie - I'd love to watch it.

I would love to watch how another family chooses to follow God. I always like hearing and seeing what others do to see if there are little things I can pick up on to add to our family life.

As a woman struggling to live my each area of my life according to biblical principals, I find so much resistance from the majority of individuals I encounter outside of my household. It's a blessing to experience other families that embrace this path and celebrate it openly. We have so much respect for the Moore family, and would love to win these films, to watch over and over again ourselves and share for other families to enjoy. Thank you for hosting this giveaway.

These films sound like such a wonderful blessing! I've watched the trailers and what a remarkable family. It would greatly encourage my husband and myself and also my oldest two daughters ( 12 & 11) who feel that we are "weird" because we're counter-cultural and unfortunately, even unlike most Christians in our area.
Thanks for the chance of a great giveaway!

I would love to watch these films because I believe children are a blessing from God, however after the birth of our fourth child, I had a tubal ligation. It was what my husband and I both decided at that time, but that was before God convicted me we should have let Him decide how many children we had. I am so saddened by the choice we made. I have repented and asked God for forgiveness, however my husband is still okay with the decision we made. I would love to have these films for my family to watch, I want to raise my children up with the belief that God should be in control of our families, in every area. Thank you for the opportunity to win them.
Blessings,
Rashel

Although my husband and I have always been believers, we had both fallen away from the church in our teens and turned our backs on God. We foolishly thought we would raise our children to be free spirited and to let them choose what (if any) path they wanted once they were adults. After our youngest son died and we were granted custody of our grandchild, we both had an emptiness far from just loosing our child, we realized it was God calling out to us, to comfort us and now we are slowly finding our way back into the flock. We would love to be able to see these movies with our grandbaby, as we are raising her in totally different way than we did our own children. God now comes first in our family and we'd love to see how other families are committed to the same.
